Dr. Ingrid Lubbers enjoys making people feel better about themselves by giving them the gift of a beautiful smile. She understands that a smile is the most noticed and remembered thing about an encounter with a new person. As such, Dr. Lubbers is dedicated to improving the dental health and aesthetics of each of her patients.
Dr. Lubbers feels truly fortunate to have found the profession of dentistry, as it has given her the opportunity to combine all the things she likes most. She has the chance to get to know a wide assortment of people and actually spend some quality time with them while doing something positive.
Dr. Lubbers attended the University of Nevada in Reno on scholarships while working three days a week as a grocery checker at Albertson's. Her initial major in college was engineering before ultimately deciding that dentistry was perfect for her! She went onto the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, receiving the Dental Professionalism award while there. Dr. Lubbers passed both the Nevada and California State Dental License exams immediately after dental school and returned home to Nevada where she started her own practice in 1987.
